Update for October 26 and beyond

Its Fall!

We can't believe its almost November.  Fall this year is definitely different with COVID, but we hope you are still finding time to enjoy the things you love.  You might have to adjust your traditions  and expectations this year, but we can still enjoy Football, Fall Outings like Pumpkin Patches and Apple Picking, or spending time with family in the great outdoors.

With Fall time, PRAR is starting back it's classes and educational events for our members. We are still taking extra precautions for your safety on any in-person events, but we want to give you the resources you need to succeed in your business.  Make sure you are checking our website, Facebook page, and your email for the most up to date information.  

One Home Training 


Canopy MLS recently had some major changes to their system with OneHome Client Portal Training.  We have had some request to do a PRAR Member training for you.  On November 11 and November 12, Canopy Staff will be conducting an online training for PRAR members on the OneHome Portal and will be able to answer any questions you have on these recent changes.  Please register today at www.prar.com.

We have arranged for aREALTOR.com to do a VIRTUAL Training for our members on how to use the FREE ESSENTIALS TOOLKIT on their site to grow your business. This webinar will not be more than 1 hour. Register today and be ready to Start the New Year off on the right track! Register at www.prar.com. 


December Membership Meeting

Our 2021 Board Installation and December Membership meeting will be held virtually. After discussing with our Brokers, Board of Directors, and polling our Members, it was decided it would be best to hold off on large in person events through December.  Fear not, we have Big Plans for 2021 so Register Today for our Meeting on December 9th at www.prar.com to hear the news first.  We also have Guest Speaker, Owen Tyler who is the 2020 SCR President and Joe Versen, fellow REALTOR/Appraiser talking at the meeting to give an update from the Appraisal side of the market today.

2021 Dues Billing 

2021 Dues Billing has been sent out. These Dues must be paid by December 31, 2020 to avoid getting a late fee.  To obtain a copy of your bill or pay online, log in to your hub account HERE! If you have any questions, please call our office for assistance. 


Code of Ethics Changes 

There is an important proposal going before the NAR Board of Directors on November 13 regarding changes to the Code of Ethics.  Put very simply, the board will consider the Code of Ethics' applicability to discriminatory speech and conduct. If passed, these recommendations would prohibit REALTORS® from using harassing speech, hate speech, epithets, or slurs based on race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity in any context.
