Primary Tasks: Pruning, Painting, Planting/Strom Door installation Number of Volunteers: 10 Workday Outline: 7:45 am: Group Leader arrives; Registration Table is open. 8:00 am: Volunteer group arrives, sign in, and receive name tags. 8:15 am - 8:30 am: • Habitat Host or Group leader will present to the volunteers. • Thank the volunteers. • Will introduce the homeowner(s) and family and allow the homeowner to say a few words of thanks. • Lead the volunteers in a moment of prayer. 8:30 am - 8:45 am - Break into work groups. Repair staff will assist with this and training. 8:45 am: Workday begins. 11:30 am – 12:00 pm: Lunch should arrive by 11:30AM. A blessing is sometimes said before lunch. Volunteer group enjoys rest and fellowship. 12:00 pm: Work reconvenes. 3:00 P.M. – After lunch, work for the day continues until the day’s tasks are completed. Please note the day may end earlier if the task(s) and clean-up is completed. We highly encourage car-pooling!
